About WebYore

Today's links. Yesterday's web.

Short Links

Any visitor can create Short Links within reasonable anonymous limits. Creation and clicks are governed by URL safety, threat intelligence, and abuse handling rules. Signed-in users can manage links, choose custom slugs, and create API keys.

Hosted Images

Verified Free and Supporter accounts can upload images within their respective storage and count limits, and receive both a viewer page and a direct image URL. Image formats are validated and private metadata is removed. New images publish as WebP. Validated WebP is retained; other formats are converted on private infrastructure. Dimensions and animation frames are preserved, with proportional scaling only beyond WebP codec dimensions. Compressed size and quality vary by image. When automatic rating is selected, WebYore's own private infrastructure classifies the image in the background after it becomes available; its rating remains unrated until classification completes. WebYore does not provide public browsing, search, or unlimited storage.

Snapshot Links

Within controlled limits, a Snapshot preserves the public appearance and content available when it was created. It can retain the original site appearance or use a compatible historical template, and the published artifact remains immutable. WebYore is not an official site of the Internet Archive or any historical service.
